Obs. 1: With the rising petrol prices and prices of all other amenities, I sometimes wonder, what will happen when it will become too costly for companies to hire us. The transport cost/ allowance will become a major part of our compensation. The food will follow.
Obs. 2: Also, we see a rapid increase every year, in the speed of accessible and affordable internet.
Obs. 3: I see another idea blooming among MNCs, the idea of working from home.
If we try to put the pieces together, it is not tough to see what might be in store. We might be heading towards a global phenomena called 'Everybody working from home'. Though I am not a supporter of the idea as it will kill the social life of an individual completely making only virtual presence necessary, I would like to see a world free of the pollution of the millions of cars that travel to work and back everyday.
